Gem Mania is a variety of the classic “Worm” game where you drive a train through a maze collecting all the gems. This by itself sounds simple enough, but there is a catch: Every gem you collect will have to be transported in its own wagon, so as you collect gems the length of your train will grow and grow, and the one thing you are not allowed to do is to hit one of your own wagons. This little fact makes it very tricky to clear the entire field of gems, without getting stuck.
The train is controlled by the arrow keys on your keyboard, and simply going over the gems, will add them to the train in the shape of a new wagon.
The levels get harder to clear after each completed one, and more often than not there is only one way to do it.
Though just a simple game Gem Mania requires a strategic insight in order to be able to clear the area, and collect all the gems without getting stuck or hitting your tail.
Though Gem Mania is a family game that can be played by all ages, it will provide a challenge for all that play the game, young and old.
